Russell Westbrook statement:

+ Show Spoiler +
i know a couple of guys who spent a small fortune, many months ago, on tickets for tonight's Raptors//Lakers game. Recently, they were legitimately concerned that LBJ and Leonard wouldn't be playing tonight.
It looks like the Drake/Raptors partnership is going to continue for a while. There is now a giant Owl logo on the practice facility.
Dirk Nowitzki :"Now it is 15 guys on their phones. There's not much time being spent together. But I'm not sure about the whole happy, unhappy thing."
The Toronto Raptors are owned by 2 massive media corporations. Rogers and Bell. This book excerpt shows the amount of control "Rogers Media" exerts over all comments made about the sports teams they own. There is very little independent Canadian media covering the Raptors. The US media , while well meaning, is pretty clueless.
- Sorry about the incident
- We are not racists
- All people deserve respect, home players or visiting teams
- Diversity is great
- Go Jazz!
Nice and heartfelt non-bullshit message overall!
Shane Keisel is banned for life.
Jennifer Huff gets nothing.
ok guys. whatever.
If NBA refs keeps arbitrarily handing out player ejections and teams deal with fan ejections//punishments like they have I'll probably spend less money on the NBA next year.

Westbrook did an amazing job blowing smoke all over his sociopathic behavior.
If the Utah Jazz want an example of a better way to deal with a bad fan incident they should check out how the 2016 Toronto Blue Jays dealt with the beer can thrower during a playoff game. They took their time and got all the facts straight. At no point did the Toronto Blue Jays get influenced by social media mobs. The Toronto Blue Jays starred down the social media mob.
Worst Contracts In The NBA
1. Andrew WIggins : "It’s a sunk cost, and an embarrassing one at that."
2. John Wall : "He's a point guard in decline, with weaknesses that don't mesh with the league's most irreversible trends."
3. Dion Waiters : "couldn't strike the fear of God into anyone when he was 100 percent healthy. "
4. Nicalos Batum: "It's not like Batum has been bad, but he just clearly isn't what the Hornets prayed he'd be when they signed him to this contract. "
5. Chris Paul: "He's a six-foot point guard who turns 34 in May. There's no historical precedent for this type of player being an All-Star"
Honourable Mention: Chandler Parsons, Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love

i can see why Wiggins has detractors. He just stood around motionless on offense. When a player is a potted plant on offense you'd expect some aggressiveness on defense. Nope, not of that from Wiggins. He stood around on defense as well. I'm not even sure he was even sweating in the 4th quarter. Wiggins linescore matches his night. no assists, no blocks, no steals, 3 TOs, 3 ORBs...
no wonder the guy never gets hurt.
Doris Burke says it best... pretty much echoing my comments from 2 years ago.
Kudos to Doris Burke for having the balls to call out this lazy, sloppy play from Wiggins. Zero urgency.
This is pretty funny.

Compared to his hype and his max yes. Compared to actual busts like Brown Olowokandi Bowie and so on not at all.
I remember watching Doris ranting about him. The thing about Wiggs is that he has all the tools, but just seems to not know how to use them or is not motivated enough to do so. What happened? Early career money? Anyone knows what his scouting report was prior to getting chosen NBA #1, any clues of his present performance/mentality?
