"However, our data shows us how good each individual card performs in a deck relative to other cards in that deck. Spreading Plague ended up being the best performing card in Jade and Taunt Druid, Innervate was in the top three, and Ultimate Infestation was somewhere around the middle"
Ok. Just as an example, lets assume a broken OP card with the following text is printed:
"10 mana. You win the game."
After 1 week out, the meta will ajust and all decks that takes longer then 9 turns to win will cease to exist.
Now if we look at the data after week 1, it will be possible to see that the card actually has a negative winrate because the deck either wins/lose before T10 so is just taking space while any other random card could be more usefull.
Since now every deck has to be agro and swarm the board early to win, this also means cards like Spreading Plague will become REALLY good and have a HUGE winrate, to the point it needs to be nerfed?
This logic makes no sense to me, and yet, thats exactly what happened unless i am missing something.
What do you guys think?
